HCBS serves children with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) to decrease the need for long term placement in institutional levels of care, including RTF's, and psychiatric hospitalizations.

This is a free afterschool program focused on tutoring and homework assistance for elementary school-age children.

Roslyn Heights Apartments - affordable, multi-unit rental housing for homeless families in Nassau County
Camp details:
- Eligibility: Children 5 years (completed Kindergarten) to 12 years old
- Dates for 2010: July 6 - Aug 20
- Time: 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
- Location: Hagedorn Family Resource Center, 120 Greenwich Street, Hempstead, NY
- No transportation provided, parents need to drop off and pick up.
- Fees: We accept subsidy through the Department of Social Services. For families who are paying privately, the tuition is based on a sliding scale. Tuition-paying families must make an appointment with the Camp Director at (516)483-3776 x401 and bring 2 recent paystubs from all income-earning members in family.
